Help needed.... want to bring Dynamic88 back to original.
Hi folks, recently bought a 1966 Dynamic 88 Convertible in good shape. Now I would like to bring it back to original as close (and affortable) as possible since the guy building her up made some changes I do't like, such as extra switch for wipers since he did not know how to wire the old switch....
Therefore I would like to ask for some pictures for the dash panel and other interior. Below find my pictures...

Actually there are. Unfortunately I'm not one. I have a suggestion for you though. You're not going to attract the attention you need by labeling the thread 'looking for pictures'. Get a moderator to change the thread title to "Need help - 66 Dynamic 88".
BTW, I see you have a fairly rare speedminder speedometer there. The mods made by the PO appear to have been done fairly tastefully. For more info on the 66? Check out Wild About Cars. clik on the links in my sig. If you need help from a moderator? LMK and I'll hook you up with one. |

I can't get you a pic for a while, but to me it looks like someone replaced the original wiper motor and changed the wireing to get it to work. My 65 motor has 4 to 5 wires that exit the motor and lead back into the upper housing that contains washer pump, and relay. There are 3 wires that come from the original harness to the three way plug I see in your pic. I will see if I can get pics later if no one beats me to it. Just keep in mind mine is a 65 98.
Right now my wiper motor is apart, on my workbench. The chassis manual is very detailed on these motors. |

@m371961: since the wipers in mine are working only by a seperate switch (Not the original) I studied the details of the wiper/washer unit a Lot. Therefore I presumed that this must be any kind of replacement unit. The 3 connection wires for the speed of the wiper are totally missing on mine. There are 2 wires comming out of the base motor and 2 are supposed to Run the pump. There is an extra pump installed, no glue so far how it could be started.
@Oldsmaniac: Wow! Thanx, that helps a lot regarding the wiper motor. Mine IS a replacement
