Does anyone know where I can get NEW carpeting and insulation and possibly new door panels for a 1961 Olds. 88 dynamic.... This is my first project car and any help would be helpful.
Also I want to get a full new exhaust system system and I cant find those anywhere either. Parts for this car are rare these days. |

Check with your local automotive upholstery shop. They can order carpets for just about anything, and for the door panels, can use the existing as patterns if they aren't good enough to re-cover. For my '69 Delta 88, to re-cover the seats, the package tray, the door panels, headliner, new carpet, new sunvisors, etc., I paid about 2600.

Fusick or Kanter would be my first thought.

I recemmend Stock Interiors. They have a great selection and I found them to be the best priced supplier. I recently purchased new carpet and matching floor mats for my '62 which I'm hoping to install this weekend. Their website is easy to use and full of useful information. I also purchased the original type 12-piece 'Body Sound Deadener Kit' from Fusick.

try doing a websearch for auto interiors. there are too many to list. Legendary auto interiors is a good one . many of them even offer complete interior kits for alot of cars.and they are not nearly half the price of an upholstery shop. i just bought a kit with carpet, headliner, doorpanels, front and rear seat upholstery for a 55 olds 88 and it cost me850.00. the quality is very good. i just finished putting on the seat upholstery and they fit great.they have tons of option too. stock materials, modern materials, custom stuff like tuck and roll. just search and check out all the sites. there a hundreds. you'll find whatever you are looking for

For the exhaust, unless you want an OEM or exact replacement, I'd recommend just going to Meineke. I recently got a quote from them on a dual-exhaust system for my '61 Starfire, and they said about 300-500 for aluminized steel, 500-700 for stainless steel.
