Which **** is the right ****?

1970 sport mirrors' inside control **** - which one is the correct ****? The smaller (thinner) one was with the sport mirrors I bought for my car (442 coupe) while the larger one was on a 1970 single outside larger chrome mirror that was on my car when I bought it.

I'm thinking it's the smaller one and if I am correct in that assumption does anyone re-produce them? As you can see in the third photo the stem is bent and I'm concerned about it snapping if I go to straighten it out.

Well if I did a better job of searching I'd find part of my answer. It looks like the thinner one is for the sport mirrors https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...rror-info.html I'm still concerned about the bent stem, does anyone re-produce them or does someone have one to sell?

Tom,they are very soft..and straighten very well...ive fixed many...as far as the corrosion..most will come off with vinegar over night, then just keep it clean..it wont come back..

i wouldnt buy one first they dont make them right, the repops are way wrong..and thats very fixable...

It is the thinner one & like Mark said, they do straighten easily enough. I've bent many of them back into shape also. Try it with yours & if it breaks, I'll send another no charge.
