how do i remove the center console on a 1970 dual gate cutlass? i have already removed the two forward scews. thanks alan

Remove the liner from the console & there is a rear bracket

Remove the console liner inserts and you will be a able to see a couple screws for the rear attaching points.

The inserts are held in by 3 or 4 screws along the centerline and the plunger switch for the light at the rear.

thanks for your help,had to repair indicator lamp wiring. repair complete, console back together,the only thing i need to complete the job is dual gate panel missing rocket insignia. (i know no biggy).cant seem to find just the insignia alone ,without having to buy whole panel at opgi and fusick. any ideas?

Apparently Fusick sells an emblem for 69 442 door panels that will work.
