Painting plastic

I have cleaned a few of my interior plastic parts , and have decided to paint . Could anyone help with a product they have used before that would work the best. The parts are flexible, which is my concern. Thanks and happy holidays to all.

SEM paint works great and has good durability even on flexible stuff like seat covers.

follow the prep instructions for best results

Clean clean clean can not be stressed enough.

I use white vinegar to clean and it works great as a prep.

The sem products are great.

There's another one made by Marhyde for vinyl and plastics, either one are excellent products and can usually be purchased at automotive paint stores in spray cans,or usually they can mix for a spray gun. Larry

Don't mix and match products. Use SEM and use ALL the SEM products as instructed. SEM makes an etching product, for example, that MUST be used prior to painting. Once clean (and use a toothbrush or similar tool to get down in the grain of the plastic), use the etch as instructed, then paint.

Anyone use DupliColor vinyl and fabric coating? I think I remember someone posting they did but I can't find it.

Here's an old thread where Duplicolor was used:
