1969 f85 worth.

i have a 1969 f85. Has a 455 with a 2bbl, E heads, and full length headers. Motor is out of a olds 88 or olds 98. Casting numbers are 396021F. Car has original 350 trans. The body does need work such as a driver side quarter panel, driver side rocker, both front fenders lower sections need a little work, and floorpans. Interior is fair besides rear seat top is ripped. Was wondering how much It is worth in this condition.

Perhaps a few more pics. Have you refreshed the front end, body bushings, suspension, etc...? With your description, about $3k in my opinion.

Needs quite a bit of work, I'll still say about $3k. Ask a little more and let them negotiate down. Everyone needs to feel like they won something.

yeah Im w OC maybe a little higher but if you ask 4500 you might get 3500 if it runs nice and looks good despite the needy areas it might go higher a little not a lot

Alright thanks guys!! I have it at $3,500 right now on Craigslist and facebook. People just want things for nothing these days. I really really hate to sell it as its one of my dreams cars!! I have located all the metal I would need and it's only around 800 bucks and I have a few buddy's who weld. If the wife would ever shut up I would just keep her and redo her. I did have plans on doing the body work and throwing a edelbrock intake, holly carb and a ex com cam in her. Along with some new bigger exhaust to let her breath. Wish I had the money to throw some Pistons and a set of aluminum heads on her but what I have read the e heads are not that bad

So I've decided I want to go with a mondello 4150 possiflow intake, 750 street demon carb, and a xe274 comp cam. For a stall probably a 2500. I have the o type rear end. 3.08 open. Does anybody make parts for these? Am I better off just getting a true 12 bolt?
