Engine i.d. # 3955582

Can any tell me what type of olds engine this is casting # from front of engine read 395558 2 i just bought this 1966 f85 and want to learn all the spec on it any help ?

I believe a 68-70 350 has code 2

Yep that's correct it is a 68-74

It's actually 68-76. The casting number changed in 1977 when the went to the windowed mains and " head bolts.
