Cam Specs

Will be building a 500" engine soon and was looking for a recommendation on cam size. What kind of idle will a high 240 degrees at .050 give? I'm looking for an idle in the 850 rpm range or am I just dreaming? I know big cams in big motors tend to mellow out their characteristics so I'm looking for advice and insight from those of you who have combos like this. This will be a street driven car. Not a daily driver but as often as I can. I'm not worried about vacuum for brakes as I can use a hydro-boost if need be. Head flow will not be an issue as I have CNC'd Bulldogs going on it. Cam will be a roller hyd.

Thanks,
George

Are you running a automatic trans or manual?
if so are you running a stock or high stall converter?
