Axle and Final Drive Assembly Manual

Good Morning,
I am looking through the 1970 Oldsmobile Assembly Manual A-Body and the index references a Axle and Final Drive Assembly Manual (405237) under Group 4. Does anyone know where I can find this manual? I am assuming this manual would come in handy during the restoration I am planning for my Rallye 350.
Thanks,

Maybe this is a secret manual.

I got my copy of the PIM from wildaboutcars. My understanding is this is not part of the PIM, but a separate manual like the Engine. Do you happen to have it in PDF or know where I may be about to find it. I am not even sure if it is important, or just nice to know.

I have 9 pages in my PIM that are not in any other published PIM concerning assembly of the rear components. I do not have a separate stand alone manual.

I have the same. I think the referenced manual is more about the inside of the differential, and axle.

But do those 9 pages have a drawing number of 405237 in the lower right corner? If so, they are indeed the referenced final drive assembly manual, even if not separate. If not, we need to keep looking.

Not to beat my own drum, but I already have those pages in a previous purchase from Paulie. It is actually 7 pages (3-9), and interestingly the "Manual Section" box is blank on the drawings - not 4 or 0. There is a wealth of info regarding part numbers and color codes for drums, backing plates, axles, etc. A couple of interesting things I found include the axle control arm bushings specifically calling out for "6 NOTCHES", an instruction for a "3 INCH DAUB OF GREEN PAINT" on top of the axle housing to "IDENTIFY LIMITED SLIP AXLE", and either blue OR yellow paint to mark the high side runout on the axle yoke sheild. There also a lot of cool W27 info. If anyone has any specific questions let me know.

So what number do you see in the "PART NO." box in the lower right corner of each page?

I know the pages in mine are not marked with 405237. It would be great if someone could .pdf a copy.
