Engine ID

I bought a 1947 International Pick up that was supposed to have been put on a old Caddy frame with a Olds motor that came in the that year Caddy.
The thing is the lady that sold it to me, her husband had died and he knew all the facts on it. She tried to tell me what was in it but I think she is confused because she tried to tell me it was a caddy 351 motor. When I gave the numbers off the motor or intake to someone else they said it was a 77 Olds 350 engine. Now I was told that caddy only put a 307 olds motors in the caddy's.
Can anyone help me figure out what exactly this thing is, once and for all. Just behind the water pump on the engine block is this Number 3161GM5OLG. On the Intake Manifold is this number 411990 and just below that is D1CB The firing order is 18436572.
Thanks for any help.
Kurt

Cadillac used a 350 Oldsmobile engine from 1975 to 1979 in the Seville and was equipped with port fuel injection. Cadillac used a 307 Oldsmobile engine from around 1986 until 1989 in the large rear wheel drive DeVille. This engine used a computer controlled Rochester 4 barrel carburetor. Based on your engine number, it appears you have the 307. Take a look at this website for additional information: http://www.442.com/oldsfaq/ofblk.htm#Small Block Blocks 1964 - 1990

Sorry, but that is a 307 Olds. Read that number this way:

3161 GM 5.0L G

The 307 is a 5.0L motor.

FYI, the 350 Olds was used in the Seville from 1975-79, but all of them came with port fuel injection (a prehistoric analog computer-controlled EFI).
