New England Oldsmobile Club Annual Show September 20,2015 Berlin, CT

Hello all,
The New England Oldsmobile Club will be holding our 19th annual All-Oldsmobile show at the Days Inn on the Berlin Turnpike in Berlin, CT. We usually have over 100 Oldsmobiles from all eras and hope that you can make it. Cars built between 1897 and 1949 have free admission! We also have a DJ, food, automotive artist, club merchandise, and more for you to enjoy. The proceeds from this show benefit the Shriners Childrens' Hospital in Mass. In the past we have also donated money to the R.E.Olds Museum and to fight childhood cancer. Our flyer with times and details can be found by clicking HERE

We hope you can make it!
-Frank Tupka
Vice President, New England Olds

Hey Frank!

I was one of the first registrants and I just sent a reminder email to a handful of friends about the show. I'll be there with the black 98 only this year as the red one is still in mid-project.

Really looking forward to another great show!

See you in a few weeks.

It really is. So nice to be at an ALL OLDSMOBILE show! And it's always a great group of people too. Really looking forward to it. I just need to finish up my to-do list in time!

One week to go, still trying to round up a buddy to make the trip with me, helps a lot when towing and unfamiliar roads... but as of now not looking too good...

Do I have to pre register or can I just show up and pay $15?

You can definitely just register at the show. Really hoping for good weather. The forecast is saying rain as of right now.

Hi everyone! We are just a week away! We're really hopping to break our record of 154 Oldsmobiles this year with the proceeds all going to charity. We have an automotive artist who can paint your car, a photographer, Hagerty Insurance, food, music from Rent a DJ, raffles featuring Olds themed items, club merchandise, and of course, Oldsmobile.

We hope to see you there!

Thanks for posting this. I'll most likely be taking a ride down to look around. I haven't started my car in a month, so a 200 mile round trip voyage might be too much for it. Or for me, if it ends up being warm.

It's possible Glen! Combined with these new additions, the weather looks like it will be perfect so hopefully we'll get a lot of beautiful Oldsmobiles on the show field ! I can only bring one of mine this year but the newbies I'm bringing will make up for it

Looks like neither will I. Car blew a heater core last night coming home from the Patriots place cruise. Ehh. Well, maybe I'll take the bike for a ride and walk around anyway.

Easy to bypass that, just connect the 2 hoses with a fitting under the hood.

I know, I thought about it! But then I can't open the hood at the show. The guys in the GMO club(I'm a member) will give me a lot of crap over that.

What a GREAT show yesterday!! The weather was amazing and the turnout was very impressive. So many beautiful Oldsmobiles. I wasn't able to take as many pictures as I had hoped as I really had my hands full yesterday but I still got some nice ones. I will post them ASAP. Hopefully others will have even more to post on here. As always, looking forward to next year's show!

I was at a car show in "Sunny" Saco,Maine, that very same day.
Jimmie Van Zant was there. He played some Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes.

I went to the show and it was pretty good lot of great cars, people and weather didnt take any pics....only complaints are the damn music is so loud if your near the dj you cannot have any conversation with anyone to talk about their cars very frustrating but i guess all shows are like this but the music shouldnt drown out your conversations...also there were no plaques or trophy's on hand they gave you a slip of paper if you won something and the trophy will be mailed out to you, someone dropped the ball on this one besides those issues it was still a great event at a nice days in motel that was open to use their facilities (bathrooms etc) decent food (food truck) and some vendors here and there and one guy drove all the way from Illinos i believe, to attend this 6 hour event now thats special!

I don't know the details but I heard there was a delay that caused the awards to not be ready in time for the show. I'm leaning towards the trophy shop dropping the ball vs. the club. These shows have always been very well done in my opinion.

The guy from Illinois had the red '92 Achieva SC Convertible Prototype. I used to have a '92 Achieva SC and I loved it. Seeing one at a show was a nice surprise as there aren't many around anymore. Seeing a convertible version was a real shocker! He said it's the only one in existence and he got it from a GM liquidation sale.
