Cam
Hay guys im looking for some help. I have a 71 olds Cutlas supreme rocket 350, with 80,000 original miles. I'm looking for a nice aggressive sounding cam which can provide the best power without having to change out the springs ? Any suggestions how aggressive I can go before having. To change out the springs ? Car has a edlebrock performer intake, summit 660 carb, and some long tube headers shift kit and getting 3;73 gears. Appreciate the help all ?

That's a lot of camshaft, especially if you have the low compression. With an 8.2 ratio, I'd keep it under 215 degrees duration @ 0.050 and under 0.460 lift. You REALLY need to know your compression ratio before you select a performance cam.
A lot of people on this site tend to frown upon Comp Cams, too. I have one in my car (see avatar) and have been very happy with it, but there seems to be the perception that they're designed for Chevys with Olds applications as an afterthought.
