No kidding. This has to be the best survivor out there. Original tires. . . . that is amazing.

I say it hits $100,000

I am thinking the seller has B J figures in his mind with the reserve but can easily see the 100 G mark being hit.

I'm going to guess the stripe is there but is very subtle.

The trunk stripe is mia, also it looks to have a blend on the left side of the trunk lock. Steering brkt won't fit with headers. No heater hoses. Nice but not 100k worth of my cash.

For what it's worth, a 1970 W-30 which was even more original and less molested, with 39k miles, sold for $78k back in 2004.

I'd be surprised to see this 1971 sell for more.

Market is much differant now than it was then. Survivor cars are much hotter today than they were then.

love the subtle stripe treatment. I know buckets and console are probably more desirable, but there is just something cool about a bench seat with a big four speed handle sticking up from the floor!

I've never seen a blue stripes on blue before. Sure is unique if subtle. Beautiful condition for a survivor...

Of the '64-'72 era, '71 is my least favorite, but, I'd love to have this one!

my 2 cents

Love the car & would love to own it. Certainly a $50K plus car. $100K not so.

If all the paint is indeed original I see this car doing at least 100k. I've been talking with someome I know for awhile about this car and he will be a player on it even now that its at 75,500. All 5 original uniroyals are rare to see.

Well it appears the auction was ended by the seller. So either he was "fishing" for value or a deal was made outside of Ebay. That car is awesome!

Is that the original style brake master cylinder? Just curious. And if it isn't, would it have been replaced within 10k miles?

Looks correct for the 71/72 non power brake applications.

Very cool, 100k or not. But I'm curious, if anyone here bought this car, would you drive it?

I would drive it, on early Sunday mornings, in nice weather, for about 15 miles at a time, maybe 20 times a year.

Oldsmaniac, now that the auction has ended the price returned to $1000 and the page shows no bid history.

What was the reserve?
