Aug 17 all Olds show in Alliance, Ohio

Man, that show was great, swap was decent too, I was the guy with the red Spiderpig T-shirt on. There were tons of really nice cars and people there and the weather was perfect. Vista will be there next year I hope if things go to plans. I only saw one parts vendor with a '72 Vista and an original '67 in the show.

Swap Meet
One reason I like our cars is that not everybody has one. I can appreciate Chevelles, Camaros and Mustangs but at car shows I get kind of numb after looking at the first dozen or two! The downside is that Oldsmobile parts are hard to find. In Portland Oregon is a huge swap meet every April, but several hours of walking I may only see a few Oldsmobile parts. That's one reason I started dragging home anything with a rocket on it! But on this site, a couple other Olds sites, and ebay I can quickly find many more parts then what's offered there. The internet has really helped me to network and buy/sell/trade parts and information with other people as crazy about these cars as me

Parts
Yes I count my blessings being in a part of the country where rust isn't much of an issue. Shipping engines or other big/heavy parts can cost too much in shipping to be worth while. But for smaller items feel free to contact me. My paycheck covers the bills, but I'm funding my projects through selling/trading spare parts. John
