Gearhead78 and his project
Hey guys. I am visiting my folks in McKinney Tx and drove over to talk to Richard (gearhead78) the other evening. Those of you who have been keeping up with his project are quite aware of the work he has been doing on his car. I have to tell you seeing the car in person is much better than the pictures. His workmanship is excellent and it was quite a thrill to see everything; the body on the lift, the frame on jackstands in the bay next to it, all the parts he has waiting for installation (Dig those wheels!), the engine, the brake parts, the extra rally pac dash.....on and on. Richard, I was quite motivated by my visit, thanks. Old guys like me slow down sometimes and just need a little push once in a while.

Dan, It was a pleasure visting with you. Thanks for the complements on my car. I'm getting excited to be able to drive it again but still a long way to go. I ran into another snag last night. The center link I ordered does not fit. Turns out there is a 7/8" and 13/16" and both use different sized pitman and idler arms. I don't see any different part numbers listed. Mine car needs a 13/16" so I guess I will just clean the old one up for now.
