I'm confused. I thought that body did not start until 1949 The 48's have seen look similar to the 46/47 body.

Yup, you're confused. The cars are indeed the '48 Futuramic design and not the old bathtub.

Yeah, the 98 had the Futuramic body (same as the '49s), but the rest of the line continued with the earlier body style for one more year.
