1966 442
I am not sure if I am posting this in the correct forum but here goes! I am interested in purchasing a 1966 442 in Charlotte Michigan. It is currently on Ebay. Would like to know if there is anyone who knows anything about this car? Could use as much help as possible! Thanks to all. My email address is: Wahoo22@aol.com

I don't know the car. The one photo of the Tri Carbs looks like it has incorrect accelerator linkage from the center carb back to the firewall, and incorrect 4 barrel L bracket back there. It won't get full throttle with that bracket. Car was built July 66, so it is a very late model year car.

I did note the cowl tag does indicate it is an original 4 speed car, and the head does have the "T" suffix indicating an original tri-carb car.Such things have been faked before; though the tag at least strikes me as being original.
Fact is, these cars are usually all about "smoke and mirrors", which is to say, without documentation, you will never know for sure if it was an original tri-carb car or not. Me, I'd be happy to know that the components are correct as possible.
Can't see the fuel filter bowl (odd that there is no shot of the pass side of the engine), but the correct style bowl is repopped / available. In times past, the longer throttle bellcrank thingy and the primary throttle rod Rund mentioned have also been repopped (and may still be available). The water pump bypass hose and tall oil filler tube appear to be the unique tri-carb pieces. The starter wiring routing does not look right for a stick car...there should be a bracket mounted off the driver's side head that directs the wires to clear the z-bar, steeering column and exhaust manifold.
Below is an driver's side shot of the setup on my old car...I actually modified the incorrect primary throttle rod that was on my car when I bought it by re-bending it to appear like the correct piece. The bellcrank on my car was the correct one.
