Whats up with Mondello Performance?

I have only bought a couple of items from Mondello Performance, but I have noticed a disturbing trend when I call them to ask about some part I might be interested in. The sales person always tells me that they only have one more of whatever it is left...and if I want it, I had better buy it RIGHT NOW. That tatic might have worked one time, but I'm more than a little suspicious now that I have heard that same line more than once.
I just wondered how many Olds enthusiasts have heard that same "last one" statement from them also? I personally have decided that enough is enough, and have found other Olds vendors that have equivalent or better products, and are not so eager to sell me something that they have to rely on this kind of sales gimmick.

Mondello is a far cry from what it was when Joe himself was running it.

I've never used Mondello Performance. Summit or Jegs have much better prices on aftermarket parts and great customer service.

I have gotten bolts from them, and they sent the wrong nuts for those bolts in the same bag. They made it right, but I will not use them again.

Question

A freind of my from FL, who has several 1968-69 Toronados (he bought the rusty red 1968 W-34 from TX), has done business with them.
The claimed they had the last front disc brake set up for the 68 Toronado (in their inventory).

I heard about 15-16 years ago, Joe M. back out of building a 455 for the "Project Janson" , out of North Carloina. Then Dick Miller jumped with a hopped-up Rocket 350 (that he built)for this project.
I do not remember the details why Joe, backed out.
