Hey guys,I'm new here but am a very active member of the v8buick board.I love all the BOP cars, even some chebbys.we have 6 buick GS's from street cars to race cars and I wanted to see what the other guys have going.
I also need some tech info.
I recently came across a couple 455 olds edlebrock manifolds, one is a O4B,and the other looks like a O65? the later has dual quads on it.Does anyone have any info on these? Thanks

They are worthless so send em to me =! Actually both are sellable with the 2 4bb being worth a couple of hundred maybe more as its not common and the single about 100 bucks...IMO.

Thanks, love the 69 HO,i still have my 69 GS400 4speed car I bought new, yeah I'm probably older than you,and recall street racing one, oops I mean having an unauthorized contest of speed, and they were quick.Similar to my wifes 70 GSX with the stripes and badging.Did the 69 have a 455 in them contrary to GM's 400 cube limit in 69?
I use the same mantra regarding getting old in my signature on the buick board, except I finish it with "carpe diem"

It's true...I once saw a cave drawing of Jamesbo falling off of his dinosaur and breaking his wooden underwear! HAHA! Just kidding!

But I agree, he's one of the heavy hitters on this forum. Especially with that sweet H/O of his.

Hey Jamesbo, I'll trade you straight across!

O4B is a decent dual plane intake for the street, and you don't have to worry about distributor clearance on the back runner like on single plane intakes. I had one once and liked it.

Both were designed in the 1960s and do not clear the HEI distributor. Both are dual plane intakes. The O4B is a predecessor to the Performer 455 and was made in both Holley and Qjet styles. The 065 uses small body square bore carbs (like Carter AFBs). Pricing is what a buyer will pay. Email me about the 065 if you plan to sell.

HaHa! Nice. Well, looks like I'll have to go barn shopping (again) after I get mine finished up to see if I can ever find an H/O waiting to be restored!

Keep me in mind though if that supermodel of your's ever changes her mind!

Although...my gal would probably woop up on me for getting rid of mine too!

Jamesbo, neat threat,I'm over 60 and remember the days well, but look at us,still enjoying the hobby, and I'm still racing. Not the NHRA style we used to do but bracket and FAST or pure stock style.Passing on our "wisdom" to others and kids is rewarding and keeps the hobby alive.I rue the day a generation will not have the opportunity to experience the muscle car phenomenom or the torque of a big block and instead only have a ricer or something called a hybrid. It will be a sad day indeed.
