Where have you gotten body molding clips?

I am missing some plastic clips for the exterior side trim on my '69 supreme. As you know, this has different trim than the s and 442. The plastic clips are roughly 1" tall and I am not finding them. Any suggestions? Thanks

Found some hard to find clips on those free standing trees in the Parts Plus Auto Parts Store. Could find in good Painters Supply too.

While my stuff is more S/442 specific, what are the clips you are searching for? A pic would help incredibly.

I get all my clips at a independent owned fastener store in Chico Ca. They supply all the body shops in the area. I'm sure there others in most any large town doing the same thing. If you can't find any close ask a large body shop where they get theirs most will tell you... Tedd

There are several clip vendors who sell at major swap meets like Carlisle and Hershey, and that's where I usually get mine. Nearly all of these clips were made by Au-Ve-Co. They still make most of these clips, though not all the rare, one-year-only clips. You can download the Au-Ve-Co catalog on line, so search there for starters.

+1 on Joe. Once you have their part number you can comparison shop. Prices range dramatically from vendor to vendor for the exact same part.
The only problem is you have to know what the clip is and just flip through the catalog until you find it pictured. I haven't found a useful application cross reference.

I'm with Joe... AUVECO is the go to place for clips as well as a lot of other hardware items... I believe they are located in Cold Spring, Ky (Cincinnati, Ohio area)... Just find an authorized distributor in your local area...

Most auto paint and body shop supply stores sell Au-Ve-Co products.

Thank you all very much! I really appreciate it. It sure feels good to get trim back on the car.
