I am IC 13/14 and 15/16 (literally butted up again' the R building.)
look for the camper, regency and 2 garage tents of stuff.
I will be there full time from tues night to sunday early evening. Wife will join thursday night.
Sorta hoping Joe stops by with his 1978 chassis manuals for a regency to point some things out for me....

FYI, while at the store today packing the rest of my 'car books' for the show, I noticed I still have the 1983 full line body manual and 1986 full like body manual. I dont sell em for much, like perhaps $4 each.

Checkin the weather? I know the weathermen oft have trouble predicting the weather for the day they are in, but, overall not a bad week coming up. If they are right.
If not, how many feet to a cubit?

I'm worried. Historically, the prediction one week in advance is usually exactly opposite of the weather that actually occurs. I've stopped checking until a day or so prior.

Place is filling up fast, it looks full from the outside, but 50% on the inside with a truck arriving every few moments.
I did see Arizona Steve drive in, wonder if he has my squarebody parts....

Given the predictions, we're planning on arriving today instead of tomorrow. Tues/Wed look to be the best. 1"-2" of rain currently predicted for Thurs. Fri afternoon and Sat may turn out OK.
Anyone have a boat?

Maybe I'm just optimistic, (or nuts), but I am going on Thurs. Really the only day that fits in my schedule. My sis lives in Mechanicsburg, my brother from Texas will be there on Wed. and we are getting together. Want to head home on Fri.

updated forecast...over 2.5 inches on thursday....carlisle is already on alert - 11, by the horrible condos past sheetz/rutters, gets about 2ft deep because of the loss of wetland/drainage.
I and the Mrs are heading to do final setup and leave me there to my own devices while she works tomorrow.

Just finished setting up the tent. The handout at the gate says that next year, the summer event is "Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals (all GMs welcome)".
Apparently the GM Nationals wasn't small enough, so now they have to **** off all the non-Chebby owners.

Wow, this is disappointing, enough to keep me away and hopefully the Caddy, Buick, and Poncho guys too.

Nice to meet you today and enjoyed talking with you. I left about 1:30p just as it started to sprinkle. To the "untrained eye", I did not see many Olds parts. As I mentioned I bought the HEI distributor and also picked up NOS air filter and spark plugs and a reprint owner's manual. Now I need to get my butt in gear and check out the engine.

Wednesday turned out to be a good day. Decent crowds for mid-week and a large percentage of vendors on site. The real rain held off until 5:00 pm. Thurs will be wet, but Fri and Sat may not be complete washouts. Scored many of the parts I need to get the 67 Delta on the road. Thanks to Craig (mobileparts) for some key pieces. Also, the Impala specialty vendors sell a number of parts that Olds vendors do not (like Aqua arm rest pads and package shelf). Got a weatherstrip set on the way from Steele also.

I went yesterday also. Wasn't the sun great? It started to cloud over about 1pm so we headed for the car. Not many cars in the corral so if you were over there you probably had seen me taking pictures of the few.

Fellow CO buddy and I went today, rain all the way there, poured about 8am for a while then slowed and misted mostly all day. A little chilly but not bad and not much wind. It was better than I expected dealer wise but there were empty spots. Picked up a 67 Cutlass fender, some sandpaper and thats about all. Even the parts wagon came prepared.

Holy cow, the rain we just had was the worst, everyone flooded. I got lucky wed and a guy with a shop made an offer for all my nib moog stuff, paid for the show and let me relax.
Keep missing joe but met farmer had a good chat. Gonna start packin around 4 to get out early tomorrow. Dunno if i am gonna renew these spots just yet, wanna do butler and hope for a better draw on 4. And all my olds filters...air and oil, now gone. Still have 150 nos, nib gm plug wires...

Sorry we didn't connect. Between the rain and my list of things to get for the 67, we were moving all the time. Nearly got the entire list checked off, except for inner fender splash shields, which Fusick will have for me at Hershey next week. Here's the result of that rain quaddriver mentioned. I was able to move my Spring spots to the same high ground we have for Fall.

The car I most wanted was the 57 Olds with a 455 in the Pavilion. There was also a black 57 with "J2 added" for $33K in the North field that looked very nice. This 64 Starfire was at the auction.

I drove down sat. and got there right when the big rain hit . Almost went home I went to sheetz got something to eat and filled up. Took my time and hung out awhile. Then went in but didn't stay long. Never went to Hershey maybe this will be the year.
