Reviews or Experience with Fusick?
I'm going to order some reverse light lenses from Fusick to replace my cracked lights. I also want to get the exaust inserts later.
A guy I work with has built a 1980 Oldsmobile Cutlass basically from scratch. I asked him if he had ever shopped there and he said he hadn't, but only because he had read on some automotive forum that their products are less than desirable. He said, for example, that chrome will peel off after a matter of months and certain parts. I attempted to find these reviews, but was unable to find anything negative about their products. I looked on eBay at several products for sale by Fusick, and they all looked fine to me. Has anybody had any experience with their products, or first hand accounts with Fusick? I have bought quite a bit of stuff from them and my dealings have been nothing but possitive. I think you will find that is pretty much the opinion because this question has been asked before. They are really nice folks to deal with. I really don't call anybody else. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I have bought several items from Fusick's while restoring my 57 Olds and have always had good luck with their service and the parts were good to excellent quality. Their prices are not cheap but not over the top either.

I only ordered from them once and that was trunk weather stripping. From that experience they seemed like a good company. I'll probably order from them again in the future. The only thing thats kinda weird is their order form. Its like a Old School type one.

The Fusick 70-72 Cutlass front fender eyebrow pieces I received are much smaller in profile than originals. I sent them back and found NOS pieces cheaper. They look like the earlier chrome version size with no plating. I also ordered the tower hose clamps and they sent all the same size for the heater hoses. Otherwise I've had no problems with them but I order parts from a lot of different places and don't use them much. You have to shop around, most of the big places have the same parts anyway and it's more a matter of price and service than anything else. They repo a lot of these parts and sell them to each other and whoever makes it is always way cheaper, loyalty is nice but when it starts costing you money forget it.

Never had any problems with any of my orders. Shipping has always been quick. From what I've heard from others, if Fusicks goofs, they fix it. I agree with Bluevista though, you should shop around the aftermarket repros and also search for OEM or NOS parts too. Like he says, sometimes you luck out and get NOS or OEM for a better price and it's a guaranteed fit.

I have used them before on about 3 occasions and never had a problem with them at all. I thought their customer service was very good. I have used several different vendors before and I just try to compare their parts prices. Sometimes different companies will have some of their parts on sale(if their is such a thing) and I was able to buy my 442 grills from them with the emblems over a year ago and I saved myself about 65.00,so I felt good about that. There is one company that I would avoid at all cost, but am not naming them, look at some past post.

Most of the parts I have bought for my car are from fusick or BAP. They have both treated me well with no issues.

I also can add that I have dealt with Fusick many times over the years and have had NO bad experiences. I always see them at the Olds Nationals and they are known by virtually anyone who has experience with Olds.

I can not tell you how many times over the years I have purchased from Fusick. If they have it, I will buy it from them. Good customer service and nice folks to deal with.

Good people who care about there customers even if you are not sure about the exact part or if it will work they will do the research and let you know. As long as you know the year , make and model they will help you out.

Old Story
Many, many years ago when I was dumber than today. Long before Olds infromation was so easily avaliable. I called Fusick and wanted a N 34 Deluxe sport wheel. They were kind enough [and missed a sale] to inform me that I had the correct [much coveted]69 Deluxe sport wheel on my 442 convertible and that the N-34 was 70 up.
![]() I said this before, But when I call them first thing in the morning, I identify myself and ask, "I am too late to ask the frist stupid question of the day?" They always laugh and say, "Sorry, you missed it again." ![]() They really really are great people.

![]() Yeah, that might have a lot to do with it. However, it's not the only Olds he's owned, but it is his current project. I wanted to make sure they as good as I had first thought from looking at their products online, but I wanted to hear from actual people before I sent off my money. Any concerns I may have had, have been thoroughly extinguished. Thanks for the help! |

Fusick is as good as it gets. Best part is they are only a 20 minute drive from my house!
Ground Up is 20 minutes from my house the other direction. Central CT is a good place to be restoring an "A" body |

I wanted to buy a few items but was told I wasn't spending enough. I said I'd pay for any extra charges for postage but no, spend more. I plan to spend more but at that time I only needed a couple of things. So now I'll only go to them if I can't get it anywhere else and so far I haven't had to call them. In the past when I ordered (over the minimum) service was good.

Jon,
Be careful when you install the new lens, Do not tighten the screws beyond snug. They will crack in the same place as the old ones. Don't ask me how I know this twice ![]()
