Hi All,
I am restoring a 70 Vista cruiser and the lower ball joint number is moog k5073 instead of the typical "A" body k5103. My question is what is the difference? The upper is the same k5108. I will be taking this apart soon and will find out then but maybe someone knows. Thanks

Any good references for a column shift conversion to a stock auto floor shift for a 68 442? I picked up an original console with shifter however, not sure what else I need to hook up to TH400. Also need a good reference guide to show makeup of auto shifter...I think the one I have needs a spring but not sure?? Also the placement of the shifter and if I need to weld it in or just use bolts would be great info.

As always thanks to this invaluable technical forum resource!

Okay, so what began as a battery tray replacement has evolved into several new jobs including battery cables, belts, fan clutch etc... But here's my question. I found some mild surface rust on the core support below the battery tray. Will a Por-15 touch up suffice, or should I pull the core support and have it powder coated? It's an AZ car so rust isn't much of an issue, just wondering how much work to pull the core support and get it all lined up correctly?

I decided to replace the upper control arm bushings on my 64 post. I cannot locate a source for these, the norm-NAPA, Rock Island, etc does not carry one of the two needed anymore. I don't know which one of the two they they carry. I am assuming probably the one for the ear on the differential is different and no longer available. Thanks
