71 cutlass antennae
Hi all,
Still resurrecting the 71 convertible, been off the project for a while. I had a new windshield installed, (did not have one when I got the car). Have the internal windshield wire, only has a small round stacon connector installed. The assembly manual doesn't show detail, but appears to be a boot over it. Can anyone tell me the proper way to connect this? Only a screw?
Thanks,
Tommy23t

Thanks, Joe, but no coax on this windshield. Just a single strand wire with small eyelet on end. I was expecting the coax, must be an el- cheapo windshield. Will have to figure a way to attach to that central connector. I know it sounded like a stupid question,....

Just today I removed the windshield from a parts car 70 Vista. Yep just as Joe says the windshield has a coax type connection that comes off it and it connects to a connector held in w/2 screws. This windshield was already cracked so I can take a pic of it if you want. I will send you the connection if you think you need it, going to throw away the windshield anyway. PM me if I can help.
