Bulb numbers

My repair manual says that the map light is a Trade # 562 bulb and the clock lights are Trade # 1893 bulb. Are these blubs available today? Are they made under a different number? Can anyone shed some light on this subject for me? The car is a 68 Delmont 88

Type bulb 562 or bulb 1893 into Google. You'll find several sources in just the first few hits.

Bulb numbers

Thanks Joe, But I went to Auto Zone and they carried both bulbs. Something I thought was going to be a problem turned out real good. Thanks again for your reply!

It sure is amazing that they still carry all those strange bulbs...

I even found the #90 courtesy lamp and #1445 bulb for the light switch and ashtray (at Oreilly's).
I could only find the brake lights at discount stores...

Napa still has the halogen headlights which I need to get so I can replace those dim T3's with... Can't believe they are still in there.

Yeah, one of my fears is that round sealed beam headlights will start to become hard to find...
