Power Locks

I am looking to install power locks on my 1977 Cutlass Supreme. I would need the lock motors , motor bracket, linkage and wiring.
I guy up country has a bunch of 1976-77 big 2-4 door Olds, Cadillac's and chevy's. I was hoping some of these models would have the same parts. I will try to call him and get a more accurate model of cars he has. In the mean time I am hoping someone would know what models have the same lock system as my Cutlass.
Thanks, mike

The 73-77 A-body cars (Cutlass, Malibu, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, Regal, Century, LeMans) will fit for sure. The parts on the full size cars are PROBABLY the same, but the linkages may not be. No guarantees.

Thanks Joe. Your information is helpful as always. Linkage I can make. Actually I could make all the parts but I am trying to keep everything as stock as possible.
Regards, Mike

When I fitted my 72 with power locks, I did have to custom make the linkages. I did use the original solenoid type though. I think your year motor type will be more readily available. Many yards should have some. Now finding them with a good rubber boot may be difficult, though, as they dry rot over time.

Don't forget the relays. They are usually behind the dash, between the glovebox and the end of the dash. There is a reason the wires from the lock motor, and the switch, both go into the car. Also if it's from a 4-door, the wiring will be the same, only shorter.
Big job, best of luck.
Keep us informed.

I did forget about the relay. Thanks for the heads up. I do have the wiring diagram. making longer wires is not problem. I am wanting to get the OEM connector plugs and and as much as "factory" parts as I can. Trying to make look stock.
Thanks guy's for all the good info. I"ll keep you posted
