Starter wiring

I am hooking up my starter on my 455 olds block in a 81 Trans Am. Can any one corect me if I am wrong. Small wire from sylonoid to ground. Ther wire (S) from sylonoid to +12 when key is cranked. Larger wire from starter to +batt terminal.

The small wire should go through the transmission switch (Neutral safety) before going to ground.
