Turnsignal problems.

Hi, I have a 72 Cutlass and I am having some difficulty with my turn signals, the problem is that they don't work at all. I replaced both flashers and just upgraded my fuse block and the signals still don't work. Everything else works with the exception of the back up lights and I just don't know what to do with these turn signals. So, I'm really hoping that one of you guys will be able to help me out before I replace the turn signal switch. Thanks,
Sam

Do you have hazard Flashers & stop lights ? is the problem just on back or both, If just in back check the aluminum harness under driver side carpet to trunk.Often rots out

I know that I have stop lights, they work. I didn't check if the hazards work. I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks

If you have rear tail lights and brake lights but no turn signals then check the fuse for your turn signal circuit. If this doesn't work then check the turn signal switch. I recently had a similar problem with my car and it turned out that the fuse for my turn signals went bad when one of my bulbs had a short. I had to replace the bulbs and fuse but now everything is working fine.

Well, I guess it's the switch then, cause I have hazard lights and all of the bulbs work, except the back up lights...which makes me think I might have wired something wrong since the back ups and turnsignals are on the same fuse. Oh, and is there a difference between the turnsignal flasher and the hazard flasher. Cause I put a turnsignal flasher in for the hazard and now they blink super fast. Thanks,
Sam
