question about map light draining battery. please help!!
I just bought a 95 olds cultas cierra about a month ago. My battery went totally dead, so I replaced it. I then noticed that one of the map lights stays on all the time, so it it what is draining my battery. If I take out the lightbulb, will the light still run power off of my battery? I'm also having problems getting to the bulb. Should I unscrew the lightbulb or cut the wires in order to save the battery?
Thanks so much fo your help! |

Taking out the bulb will most likely fix the problem. Without the bulb the circuit is not complete and no current flows. Give it a try and see what happens, it's definitely the cheapest and simplest potential fix!
