turn signal staying on
i have an 84 delta 88, when you signal left, take your turn the signal remains on. it does'nt click back off, you have to do it manually. its really a pain in the butt. the right signal works fine. is this an easy fix? thanks jk.

My '85 does the same thing.
That style t/s lever just brakes over time. You can buy a new one on ebay for about $10, but you gotta remove the steering wheel to install it

how to you may ask? first use a decent repair manual (factory is preferred but any for your vehicle is better than nothing) Remove horn pad, remove steering wheel nut, remove steering wheel lockring "snap" ring, remove steeringwheel lock plate, remove turn signal / canceling cam assembly, Install new part and reinstall everything you removed. sounds easy - but a pain without a steering wheel puller, snap ring pliers, torx bit drivers, etc... The factory manual or assembly manual will tell you where everything goes and how tight to tighten everything so there are no surprises. Best of luck,
