1966 Olds 98LS Turn Signal Switch
My turn signal switch was broken when I purchased the car so I am trying to source a replacement.
I have contact http://www.shee-mar.com and am waiting a reply from them regarding this. Do you know of any other sources that may have this switch. The car is a 1966 Oldsmobile 98LS with turning lamps. I don't honestly care if the turning lamps function. It would be nice but I NEED functional turn signals. The one in the car is stamped GUIDE with part numbers (5956364-1) & (5957063-5). Any help is much appreciated. Here are some pics of the current switch: ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Parts book shows same switch for 65 and 66 w/o tilt or cornering lamps, and same switch for 65-66 cornering lamps only. Switches for any tilt wheel app have a different connector.
You don't have to limit yourself to an Olds search. Pretty sure Buick and Pontiac, possibly full-size Chevrolet, use the same switch in same applications. I know Cadillac was still using the pyramid shaped connector in 66.
