Does 67 Cutlass rear speaker attach with a bracket?

Thanks to all who have given me some great guidance on the front speaker.

It appears the back speaker was changed at some point (not Delco), and is definitely way beyond its usefulness at this point.

What size should it be?

Does it mount with one of those overlap type brackets or just t-bolt up to the bottom of the shelf?

If it takes a bracket, I guess I can put yet another WANTED ad on here, becuase the one on it is just screwed up to the rear deck metal.

Thanks as always.

D

Speaker should be 6x9. Carriage bolts or screws will work in place of "T" screws.

Chances are the original speaker had a factory cover that clipped to the magnet. Unless you a doing a 100 point restoration an aftermarket speaker will work.
