68 cruise control?????

I have a 68 442 that I am trying to bring back to life. It has a cruise control system, or at least part of one, that I never saw before. It is a dash mounted system that says Cruise Master on the switch bezel. System seems to maybe be a dealer installed item, with the speedo cable coming from speedo and going to a box (this part is missing) and anothe cable going to the trans. It also has a full wiring harness of it's own. Has anyone ever seen a system like this? Is it factory or dealer installed?

Doesn't sound like it's an Olds option; more of an aftermarket one. Not 100% sure though. Got any pictures of the dash switch and engine components? That would help.
