Hello,
Have a few gremlins in my wiper motor. It's the type with the washer
included. Works on low speed, but will not park & shut off properly,
doesn't work on high speed. Could be a lost cause, but thought there could
be a fix.

These are an SOB when they act up, because the way they are wired is way more complicated than you'd expect, and because the park mechanism itself is a bit strange.

Complete troubleshooting instructions should be in the '73 Fisher Body Manual, but if you don't have one (yet), here's the section from the '66 manual, which is properly scanned.

I would recommend troubleshooting to the extent that you can prove that the problem is not outside of the motor, but if you find it's inside, and you can't figure it out any further, used, rebuilt, and new motors are readily available.

Yes, I have taken it out & removed the washer pump & hooked it up to 12v, looks like a
problem with the parking spring etc., but also, fast speed doesn't work, & washer doesn't work, so looks like I need a new one. Found a good second hand one in the States,
will cost me about $160 AUD delivered,
