Question Anybody Please Help!

Hello all,
I joined this site for some help. What a great site with alot of great minds. I am looking to start a hobby I love, poor mans restoration. I am looking at a 64 Olds 88 2dr. My question is about the windshield, which is out. My memory is slipping me. The windshield is mostly a blush/green tint. What I am concerned about is the sun screen band strip at the top of the windshield is a yellowish color. Why is this? It looks factory, is it eliments damaged, tinted by some one else, or were they normal like that from factory? Otherwise the windshield is in great shape. Should I be concerned? I just need to know why the top band is yellowish. Please help a newbe? Thankee! Rocco

Rocco, first of all, welcome to this site! Second, is the color in the glass? If so, all I could say is that would be factory or a replacement somewhere along the car's life. At any rate, if you are doing a poor man's restoration I wouldn't worry about it. How about some pics? My son owns a '64 98 fourdoor six window hardtop. It is a beaut!
