69 delta 88 custom wth the B07 police package
well guys i bought Uncle Hulka 69 and picked it up this weekend, what a great guy, a great trip (beside my return trip took alot longer than needed), and SOME GREAT CLAM CHOWDER!!! THANkS STEVE.
Gonna start to gong thru all the parts and list them all out and make some decsions on what way to go with this project. Definitely gonna share all the part that work on both 69-70 cars with My 70.
He did decide to pull motor and trans but i may have option to buy them in future, which will give me time to start repairs and restoration.
Best part of whole deal is I now have two completely brand new Rotors and Hubs to bolt on my 70 !!! and put Charlotte back on the road..
I actually think the wife is kinda taking a likng to this one, since she is jealous of Charlotte and Charlotte has issues with her maybe the wife will want to drive this one

Shame the motor and trans are separated from the car. Now I know why he never answered my PM. My question now is, besides the rear sway bar, what else sets this car apart from the garden variety 88? Definitely a cool car, and glad you saved it!

I don't see it as that big of a deal. It wouldn't be difficult to duplicate or exceed the performance of the original 455/TH400 setup while appearing stock.
Without the originals, the only thing missing is the correct ID numbers, which is really only crucial in big $$$ musclecars and the like. Even with all the correct numbers and documentation, this car is really only valuable to a select few die-hard Olds guys - the only folks who can appreciate it for its rarity and uniqueness.
Sure, being able to say it's "numbers matching" is nice, but not truly important to this particular car, IMO.
If it were mine, I'd restore the car to original and build a stout torque monster 455 that looked stock externally. It'd be the ultimate sleeper

well this car has a fully boxed frame also has a 2:92 rear gear, the motor and trans as you know were special to this car. it also has rear defog, sentinel speedometer oh and i cant think of any thing else at the moment
yes it was on craigslist but The po contacted me because i was looking for parts for my 70 delta 88 and this car came with a butt load of nos and very good used parts
Without motor and trans I am trying to figure what to do. i have a 70 455 short block that i could put n it, but i have always want to go with a newer powerplant and trans to make one of these cars more economical to drive on trips. I have my 70 that is all olds at this point and if i could come across a big ls motor I may swap new motor and trans into 69 since that car is all original and my 70 has some custom work done like shaved moldings and custom interior... so lets say 6.2 with 4l60e in 70 and as close to orgiinal as I can get with 69

ok guys after going thru all those parts finding out what wiill and wll not fit my 70 and after some long thought process with everything involved I have decided to throw this back up for sale, some parts will be sold to a gentleman in australia for his 69 and I will put the rear end in my 70!!! but will also put mine back in the 69 so rollng chassis lots of good parts can email you the list. Since motor and trans were not sold with car (trans may still be available) I feel it no big deal for me to swap that posi rear end into mine. Contact me here or call/text 859-329-3083 and we can discuss what i have

ok guys here it goes the whole car is for sale I am not able to make it to the nationals due to money, I live in central Kentucky and would deliver for the fuel costs. I will be selling this car with the RARE posi rear end in it. I do not reallt need to keep rear end, so if anyone wants the car and all the nos parts I will sell everything for 2500 there are a few small parts that I will keep but there are multiple of those items. just badges mostly
