rear-end help.
i have a 1978 delta 88. 2 door car. i need a rear-end really bad. i found a few but have no clue if i can use them. one is from a 69 cutlass. 2:78 posi gears, and so on. dose anyone know if it will work in my car?? the other one is a 8.5, 10 bolt. but thats all they said. i can't afford to get a driveshaft made-up so iam looking to keep mine. can anyone help?

Joel, what part of the country are you in? The easiest way would be to find another Delta close to the same year. I'm in Oregon and they're still plentiful here. If you can't find one local, advertise on realoldspower too for additional coverage. John

i think we just found one. at least i hope. its from a caprice classic. 80's i think. never seen the cars. if it will work, iam trading him my mazda B2200 for it. trucks got no brakes and a crack in the frame. lol. good trade. oh yeah, iam in elmsdale Nova Scotia. and theres not to many olds lovers out here. most just tell me i have a good boat acher...... i get this a lot. but why drive a chev when everyone else is. gatta be different in some way...lol. my day to day car is a 95 civic hatch. clean and hell. and theres no fart can on it. hell thats different enoff for around here..
