Deloris(82 Delta 88)

OK well Im almost their with getting Deloris(my delta) to sing 2 me but I think my fuel pump is dead and my Q-Jet the 2 front barrells wont open when i hit da gas or is it not suppose 2? But basically gas isnt getting to the carb, it runs if I pour gas directly 2 the Q-Jet.Im Going to replace it 2marrow. There is 60k on the body the original motor was knocking so it was tooken out a 85 cutlass 307 was put in. I have a 350 but I wanna wait untill I save up for a trans and rear end.But here are sum pics of her!!!The 1st pic is me just taking out the top and bottow dash I got saude Im putting on it 2 spice it up

How can you tell that the front barrels aren't opening? Are you possibly looking at the choke plate and not the throttle plates (which are on the bottom of the carb)?

yea thats what I was looking at. I knew it didnt sound right, I even asked a couple of people and they just kind of agreed! smh...
well i started her up, i just need a detainer cable!!!
