what is the J-88
I am looking at something on ebay. I have a 65 olds dynamic 88 convertable and the item im looking at fite 65 oldsmobiles except for the 65 thru 67 J-88's. What is a J-88. ANYBODY KNOW????

Another model for that year. Do a google search, lots of hits.
Like for my '55 Olds, there was a 88 and super 88. |

Jetstar 88s were the entry level 88 model. They used smaller engines than the Super 88s or Delta 88s, and maybe different transmissions. I believe they also used lighter duty suspension and brake components. Jetstar 88s were made from '64 thru '66. They were replaced by the Delmont in '67.
