Drive shaft problem

I purchased a drive shaft from someone on this forum for my 68 Cutlass S and the U joint are bigger than the one on the trans and rear end.
Need help getting the proper driveshaft.

Thx, Howie

Are you sure you just don't need the correct ujoint?

Might it not be easier to use a couple of "adapter" U-joints?

edit - I think Eric and I have the same idea.

The rear end joint is the small one and the knuckle on the Turbo 350 is a small one but the one welded to the driveshaft and the new u joints I have are nearly 1/4" bigger. I am going with the driveshaft I guess.

Aka 'conversion' U joints.

The joints have two different cap diameters and sometimes widths. One pair sized for your yoke and one pair sized for your driveshaft. Used when swapping yokes/shafts from different makes.

Of course, first you need to know what your shaft and yoke info is.
