1966 cutlass convertible

I am somewhat new to the site and I thought I would share some pics of the project. It's not much to look at in it's current state but I am sure excited about what it will become. The original 330 engine was in pieces when I got it but I have since acquired a 71 455 and a TH350 to drop in. The engine is in good running condition just to be cleaned and painted with maybe some new gaskets here and there.

Looks like a fairly solid car to start with! Have fun! And keep us posted (w/ picts) That 455 should be plenty of power.

The car is very solid with original paint and interior. It needs some body work (including a new hood...do you have any leads on where to find one) and new interior but all the top is intact and has all hardware to rebuild it. I think it is a good foundation. I love what you have done with yours, I was checking out your pics and it looks incredible. Did you get it finished yet?

Thumbs up

Good luck and welcome! Have a '67 myself and I do believe the 6's and 7's were the best looking! If you need brakework, my daughter works pretty cheap!
