Cutlass Salon 1987

Hey everyone !

I'm looking to buy a cutlass salon 1987 for a complete rebuilt. I got a little question for you, is there anything in special i have to watch BEFORE complete the transaction ?

RUST! The G-body cars are notorious for rust-out of the rear frame rails. You can get reproduction rails (built by a gentleman in Canada, in fact) but it's a big job to weld them in correctly. Rustout of the doors is another known problem.

thanks a lot ! the frame looks to be in good shape, there's only a little bit of rust on driver's door and the engine needs to be rebuild.


For 200$, I think it's a good deal
