need help with installation for a/c compressor

i just took my a/c out in a hurry, and, like a dumbass, i didnt take notes on where brackets went and didnt take picture. i had to take the alternator off, and then the a/c compressor.

so, after i installed it the proper way, which i didnt, i was left with a bracket and a screw. i really dont want to go to the junk yard again to figure it out. if anyone can help, it'll be appreciated. thanks again.

edit: forgot to say it's a 1982 olds cutlass supreme with a 3.8 v6
here are pics.

Hi I will try to explain the best I can. Looking at the pic of the bracket, the side that is up in the pic, faces the back of the engine. The longer slotted hole goes to the top bolt on the compressor, the hole closest to that, goes to the left bolt of the alternator. Line these two up, and you should see the hole on the end bolts up under the alternator, at the block. Let me know if this helps. Jim.

i actually found something out. it was my fault, but it also wasnt my fault for having this problem. you see the bottom pic with the bolt screwed in under the alternator? well in my car, that bolt wasnt screwed in. i tried to screw it in but there is a hose blocking it.
