Newbie here need info 70 convert
i'm not up on my oldsmoblie production numbers maybe you guys can help me out. i'm looking at a 1970 cutlass convertible,350 engine 4 speed not a 442 just a cutlass w/buildsheet 20,000 mile survivor car has minor rust but not bad at all. all there never messed with original paint. my question is how many where made with a 4 speed trans any idea on value. the owner claims not many 4 speeds were built. any info would be appreciated. i have been looking for a convertible project for a while. thanks. Sorry, I don't know about the production numbers, But welcome to our site, we hope you enjoy your stay. Do you have any pics of the car? I would love to see them.

70 convertible
I didn't take any pics. the guy has been saying he was going to sell it for a while but never commited to it. he finally decided to sell & gave me a price. car wasn't as nice as i had heard but it is still pretty nice & its original un-molested car. a few minor rust issues(heels of fenders couple minor spots on quarters) interior nice engine compartment untouched with A/C its been sitting in his garage for about 18 years. as usual other people want it also but none of them are stepping up with the cash.(they want to steal it) i'm just not up on my Oldsmobile values although i have had a lot of other A body cars (Chevelles) if i wind up with it I'll post some pics. i would say it's in #3- or #4 condition any ideas of a fair price.
