Clock ground
I thought I could just install my clock ( bought as "working" ) and it would be grounded through one of the mounting screws that makes contact with a metal strap on the instrument panel. No success, so I looked it up in my service manual and it shows a ground wire attached to one of the three housing nuts on the back of the clock and the other end under one of the mounting screws.( I assume the one that goes into that metal strap) Is this what I am missing? My power feed is hot.
Thanks, Chumley ![]() |
