Please tell me how to replace the driver's side interior door handle on a '95 Ciera.

I think there is a special too you can buy to do this. You can get it at any good parts store. This guy bought one and used it on his 85 http://www.classicoldsmobile.com/for...oor-panel.html

I'm hoping I don't have to remove the door panel...
because there is a smaller panel around the lock and handle. I opened it up and looked but, frankly, I could not figure out how to remove the broken handle.

Hi. I'm pretty sure you will need to remove the door panel, and the handle is riveted on to the door. The handle slips into place, then held securely by one big rivet. I changed one on a nieghbours last summer. (Buick, but same car) Handles are easy to get. PM me, if you need more. Hope this helps. Jim.
