71 Cutlass "S" hood stripe
I have been looking at a very rough 71 Cutlass "S" with the thoughts of a restoration candidate. The paint is original and very worn and you can see remants of the factory accent stripes on the sides of the car. It seems to be a seldom seen item on Cutlass "S" coupes. My question is whether or not the center hood stripe that you could get on a 71 442 if it had a regular hood was also available on a Cutlass "S". I seem to remember that it was and I have a factory picture showing one so equipped, but I do not have an option book for 71 and was just curious if it was available. Anyone got an idea?
