rear sway bar
Has any one tryed the rear sway bar kit from opg that has the sway bar and the weld-in boxing kit? Was thinking of trying this route vs buying boxed lower control arms and the sway bar seperate. Thanks, Scott

I remember there used to be a bracket that spanned the gap inside the arms, and used long hardened bolts.
Not as good as boxed arms, but it was a factory part!
[Don't remember what GM division, though]

The bolt-in bracket was used on the 73-77 cars, and the sway bar was different, as it bolted up from the bottom instead of against the inner faces of the control arms. Aftermarket sway bars use a different bracket that bolts to the inside of the arms and hangs down for the bar to bolt to. All factory 64-72 A-body cars with rear bars used the fully boxed and welded lower control arms.

Can someone show me the details of this setup. The rear bar and fully boxed lower control arms. I would like to confirm the setup and compare. Pics of the suspension during restorations would be awesome, but doubt anyone has that.
