We have had ten or so days of mild weather (above freezing) 'til yesterday. Now with the mild temps, almost all of the snow we did have, melted. So no snow, but we went for a drive to-day thirty minutes north to Barrie. Fifteen minutes north and we start seeing snow and when we get to Barrie we find that they have been hoarding our snow! Of course THEY are in the snow belt and we are not, thank God! So back home we go arriving around supper time and ho hum, no snow, just cold. -7.

it made it to 62 here in KC today...
I was in Iowa this last week and it snowed like 3-4 inches..and so miserable..the wind..the slush, and the no driving b@stards...thanks goodness i am back home..dry and warm
