Power antenna
Does anyone know rare is a power antenna in a 68 442? My car has one but it looks like someone tried to remove it with a pair of pliers. I have been looking for the chrome trim that mounts the antenna to the rear quarter but i have not found one. If you have one or the whole setup let me know.

Probably fairly uncommon item as Oldsmobile was really pushing the Muscle Car image in the media then what with Doctor Olds playing so prominently in the commercials and ad campaigns of the time. There is really know way of know exactly the number of 442s ordered with the power antenna to my knowledge (someone correct me if I am wrong there). I can tell you they sold for an additional $35. Good luck in your search.
